almost time to hit the road on our adventure on the left coast. i am psyched, ready and can’t wait at this point. can’t sleep, either. good sign!
My new set of mentees are awesome beyond belief. somehow, me thinks that my goal at RnR San Antonio will be there. Along with my Twin Cities Goal….. and my RnR San Diego goal.
Can’t wait to meet up with folks at some point in time, too…..
OK, i’m not being very coherant now, but will be at my next post. I promise.

Last long run with TNT today. Went awesome. Once again, last week came in first after the really long run. I’m not racing or anything, just taking my time to have fun. Same thing happened today. i’m having SO much fun this season. I’m hoping for a sub-5 at RnR….. Tomorrow we are going to UTBT in the AM to give E his stuff and then do a really nice run there. some of the other teammates may be there, too….
the next season is going to be great. GREAT coaches, great folks as mentees… training going well…. what more can a girl ask for?

running is going awesome. training is going well. today is the minnie 15K, should be a good time. ALL Disney races are fun. hope to meet up with some folks there….
OK. We have this new thing for saturday nights. we have a little decent breakfast, and then wait for dinner time to have a beer and a snack. (its something like sharing an appetizer platter or something) not condusive to all this training, but we really can’t eat much these days, and its just a waste to order more. we went to one place in town (names removed to protect the innocent!!) that advertises itself as an Irish Pub. with a last name lke ours, it should be a usual haunt. we went there when it first opened about 18 months ago and have never been back…. until last night. the first night, i ordered a ‘black and tan’ for my drink. the waitress went ‘huh, is that a mixed drink?’ to which we educated her as to what it was. last night, i ordered my usual black and tan…. as did dave. the waitress comes back and says that we can’t have it since harp is no longer available, and they have Dos Equis instead….(a half and half is guiness and harp) Once again, we educated her on the formation of the drink…. um. my moniker of phoney irish is still really true. needless to say, we won’t be back. Oh yeah, somehow an irish place celebrating cinco de mayo is just so wrong.
